For this assignment, you will simply be introducing yourself to your teacher and classmates. Focus on three unique facts about your life (for example: how you got your name, an interesting hobby, what you'd like to do with your life, etc.). Remember that all speeches must have three parts: an introduction (gains audience attention), a body (contains most of the information you speak about and is divided into your three unique facts), and a conclusion (a review of your main points and final statements).

This speech is entirely low pressure. You get complete points just for completing the assignment. The purpose of this assignment is to reflect on your initial performance and use it as a starting point to watch yourself grow throughout this class. Because it is also so informal, it will be a good place to work out your nerves and become more confident in front of the class.
