A mnemonic is a device to help you remember something. Mnemonics are particularly useful when learning new vocabulary . For instance, it might be difficult to remember that supercilious means "arrogant," but it might help if you remind yourself that acting arrogant is "super silly."

Think of a word you have trouble remembering, and invent a mnemonic to help you.
