An allegory is a device in which people and events stand for things outside the story. For instance, Animal Farm, by George Orwell, is an allegory in which the farm stands for the Soviet Union under Communist Party rule.
Think of a scandal or event that has happened, and write a brief allegory about what happened, making fictional characters stand for real people.
